Claritus Earns Top Seat Among Hasler/Neopost Dealerships in U.S.A.

Lincoln, NE, November 1'st, 2009. – Only one out of 250 Neopost/Hasler dealerships in the U.S.A can be named the National Dealer of the Year. It is a status that is based on many objective criteria including revenue, service, professionalism, training and commitment. The current recipient of that is Claritus, a mailing systems dealership that has been a top producer for Hasler for a quarter century.

The award is much more than a statement of top sales. It can be earned only after a dealership has passed specific grades for customer satisfaction, technical knowledge, product quality and annual revenue. A third-party survey is used to evaluate customer satisfaction and Claritus achieved a 98% overall rating based on its clients’ experience with the company’s installation, operator training, equipment condition and reliability. Claritus has been a Hasler dealer since 1985 and has consistently moved up the ranks within each of the four categories the manufacturer has for its dealer channel. In fact, it is the only dealer that has pulled in the top performance award in all four categories.

It confirms that we are the leading dealer in terms sales, customer satisfaction and service; essentially in our overall commitment to the entire line.”

“This also influences a customer’s decision to rely on us for their mailing systems purchases,” Krell added. “There are often instances in which a business may be hesitant to consider stepping up to a new supplier. This award from Hasler offers them the validation they may need to make that decision to switch, which invariably turns out to be the right move.”

Claritus commemorates its 25th anniversary with Hasler next year. Over that period, the dealership has grown from a small, four-man company in a “double-wide trailer” to an established organization with offices in Lincoln, NE; Sioux Falls, SD; Sioux City, IA and Omaha, NE; and an employee base of 47. It has followed the growth track along the four Neopost/Hasler dealer categories and now commands a 51% market share within its territory.

Claritus President David Herbert attributed much of the success with Hasler to the dealership’s own people. “We have dedicated people who have shared a results-driven mindset throughout our history,” Herbert said. “You just don’t earn a top rank like this unless you apply the mindset and the mechanics necessary to produce results. We’ve been doing that across the board and the survey data confirms it.”

Hasler was founded in Switzerland in 1854. The company later went on to manufacture the franking machine, which became known in the U.S.A. as a postage meter. More than 150 years later, Hasler and Neopost share a major global presence with a broad line of mailing and shipping systems and mail support equipment including folder/inserters, address printers, mail sorting and tracking systems, and mail center management tools.
